The Echo speaker family is basically a voice-controlled device which uses Alexa voice service to execute multiple tasks like playing music, setting reminders, assess your own weather and sports scores, command smart home devices and so forth. It may even link to speakers or headphones via Bluetooth or 3.5 millimeter stereo cable to play music from various services. According to a report, India is going to have Amazon Prime Music but will initially be available as a preview for customers buying any of those Echo devices. It will eventually be produced for free for prime members. They will also encourage music streaming from Saavn and TuneIn.
There are just seven microphones onboard together with beam-forming technologies, and noise cancellation which permits it to recognise your own voice out of just about any direction even in noisy environments or while playing music.
The new Echo devices may also control lights, switches, and more with compatible attached devices from Philips, Syska as well as many others. Alexa will also encourage a variety of services from Zomato, Ola, Urbanclap, and much more
Amazon India will likely be offering the newest Echo speakers via an invite only system. Basically you will need to send in a petition and if your invitation is approved, you will find an email confirmation in ‘the coming weeks’. You will then receive a opportunity to purchase one unit. One year old Amazon Prime subscription will be included with some of the Echo speakers that you purchase and also an additional 30 percent discount will be provided in the time of checkout. Existing Prime members may expand membership by one year, or provide an equivalent cashback.
